Overview
Extend is built with privacy as a first principle. All data you enter stays on your device. We do not operate servers, collect personal information, or share anything with third parties.
Data We Do Not Collect
We never collect, transmit, or have access to:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- Your location
- Your health or fitness data
- Analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics
- Any data whatsoever from your device
There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no backend servers associated with this app.
Data Stored on Your Device
All data you enter — workout logs, exercises, routines, training plans, water intake, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it or enable iCloud sync.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is synced across your own devices via your personal iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud database, which only you can access. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern that storage. We cannot access your iCloud data.
Apple HealthKit (Optional)
Extend can optionally read from and write to Apple HealthKit. This is entirely opt-in and is configured in Settings. Health data is only used within the app to display your fitness information and to log completed sessions. We do not access, store, or transmit HealthKit data outside of your device.
Extend does not share HealthKit data with any third party or use it for advertising purposes.
Apple Watch
If you use the Extend Apple Watch app, data (such as step counts, water logs, and today's plan) is shared directly between your iPhone and Watch over the standard WatchConnectivity framework. No data passes through any external server.
Exports
You can export your data (workout routines, training plans, session logs) as JSON or CSV files. These exports are initiated entirely by you and go wherever you choose to save them. We have no visibility into exports.
Third-Party Services
Extend does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, or data brokers. There are no ads in the app.
Children
Extend does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, nor from anyone — we collect no information at all.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
